About the Journal
Journal of Neuromorphic Intelligence is an interdisciplinary journal that publishes papers of high quality and significance in all areas of artificial intelligence, directly or indirectly derived from the brain. The journal covers research in transforming bio-inspired design and systems into computing practices. The journal aims to recognize emerging artificial intelligence and its broad applications to outline the current and future developments in the field. Brain-inspired artificial intelligence is positioned to provide a disruptive transformation in integrating various materials, devices, and algorithms into size, weight, and power(SWap)-efficient computing. Accordingly, there was a need to build a unique, in-depth publication platform for engineers, scientists, and practitioners in academia and industry to promote such artificial intelligence for future advanced systems.
Scope of the Journal
The journal covers an interdisciplinary effort in the field of artificial intelligence. Topics of particular interest include but are not limited to, artificial intelligence hardware like neuromorphic materials and systems (e.g., development of various materials and manufacturing for neuromorphic systems and devices like memristive switching materials), brain-inspired design and emulated neuromorphic systems and devices, emerging algorithms, edge computing, machine learning, application of machine learning in design, manufacturing, and multifunctional systems, smart sensing and data processing, and AI chips.
